10 Dua's after fard Salah 


  1.  Takbir - Allahu Akbar                                        
  2. Istighfar (Astagfirullah), Allahumma Antas-salam....                                                                  
  3. Allahumma A'inni Alaa dhikrika....                 
  4. Allahumma la mani'a Lima a'tayt....                
  5. Tahlil - La ilaha illa allahu wah dahu....         
  6. Subhan Allah, Alhamdulillah, Allahu Akbar
  7. Three Qul                                                             
  8. Ayatul kursi                                                          
  9. La ilaha illa allahu wah dahu....                      
  10. Allahumma inni as'aluka ilman nafian....     


1.  Allahu Akbar

الله أكبر 
 Allahu Akbar

Translation: Allah is the greatest.

2. Astagfirullah

                                           أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ

Astagfirullah     ( Recite 3 Times )

Translation: I seek forgiveness in Allah.


Allahumma Antas-salam 

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ السَّلَامُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلَامُ تَبَارَكْتَ يَا ذَا الْجلَال  وَالْإِكْرَام

Allahumma antas-salam,

Wa minkas-salam,

Tabarakta ya dhal-Jalali wal-ikram.

Translation: O Allah, You are Peace and from You comes peace. Blessed are You, O Owner of majesty and honor. [Sahih Muslim : 1334]

3.  Allahumma A'inni Alaa dhikrika wa 'shukrika 

Muadh bin Jabal reported that the Messenger of Allah (p.b.u.h) caught his hand and said: By Allah, I love you, Muadh. I give some instruction to you. Never leave to recite this supplication after every (prescribed) prayer: O Allah, help me in remembering You, in giving You thanks, and worshipping You well.

.اَللّٰھُمَّ اَعِنِّیْ عَلٰی ذِکْرِکَ وَشُکْرِکَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِکَ

Allahumma a’inni ala dhikrika wa shukrika wa husni ibadatik.

Translation: O Allah, Assist me in remembering you, in thanking you, and worshipping you in the best of manners. [Sunan Abu Dawood : 1522]

4. Allahumma la mani'a Lima a'tayt


لَآ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اللّٰہُ وَحْدَہٗ لَاشَرِیْکَ لَہٗ، لَہُ الْمُلْکُ وَلَہُ الْحَمْدُ وَھُوَ عَلٰی کُلِّ شَیْئٍ قَدِیْرٌ اَللّٰھُمَّ لَا مَانِعَ لِمَآ اَعْطَیْتَ وَلَا مُعْطِیَ لِمَا مَنَعْتَ وَلَا یَنْفَعُ ذَا الْجَدِّ مِنْکَ الْجَدُّ

La ilaha illal-lahu wahdahu la shareeka lah, lahul-mulku walahul-hamd, wahuwa ‘ala kulli shayin qadeer, allahumma la mani’a lima a’tayt, wa la mu’tiya lima mana’t, wala yanfa’u thal-jaddi minkal-jad

Translation: None has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, He has no partner, His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is Able to do all things. O Allah, there is none who can withhold what You give, and none may give what You have withheld; and the might of the mighty person cannot benefit him against You. [Sahih Al - Bukhari 844]

5. La ilaha illa Allahu wahdahu


لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ  لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ،  لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ  وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ  شَيْءٍ  قَدِيرٌ،  لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ،  لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ،  وَلَا نَعْبُدُ  إِلَّا  إِيَّاهُ،  لَهُ النِّعْمَةُ  وَلَهُ الْفَضْلُ،  وَلَهُ الثَّنَاءُ الْحَسَنُ،  لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ  مُخْلِصِينَ  لَهُ الدِّينَ  وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُون

La ilaha illa allahu wah dahu la shareeka laahu, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu, wa huwa ‘ala kullee shay’in qadeer, La hawla wa laqu-aata illah billah, la ilaha illAllah wala na’budu illayyah, lahun-ni’matu, wa lahul fadl, wa lahu-saana ul hasanu, la ilaha illAllahhu mukhliseena lahudeen, wa law karihal kafiroon

Translation: There is no god except Allah , He is alone, without partner, to Him belongs all sovereignty and praise and He is over all things omnipotent. There is no might nor power except with Allah, There is no god except Allah and we worship none except Him. For Him is all favor, grace, and glorious praise. There is no god but Allah, to Whom we are sincere in devotion, even though the disbelievers should disapprove it.  [Sahih Muslim : 1343]


6. Subhan Allah, Alhamdulillah, Allahu Akbar

سُبْحَانَ اللّٰہ

Subhan Allah  ( Recite 33 Times )

Translation: Glory be to Allah.

 اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰہ 

Alhamdulillah  (Recite 33 Times )

Translation: All praises is due to Allah.

اللّٰہ اَکْبَر 

Allahu Akbar  (Recite 33 Times)

Translation: Allah is the greatest.


La ilaha illa allah

لَآ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اللّٰہُ وَحْدَہٗ لَاشَرِیْکَ لَہٗ، لَہُ الْمُلْکُ وَلَہُ الْحَمْدُ وَھُوَ عَلٰی کُلِّ شَیْءٍ قَدِیْر

La ilaha illa allahu wahdahu la shareeka laahu lahu, lahu-l-mulku wa lahu-l-hamdu wa 'hua ala kulli shay'in Qadeer.


Translation: There is no true God except Allah. He is one and He has no partner with Him, He is the sovereignty nad He is the praise nad He is omnipotent. [Sahih Muslim 1352]


7.  Three Qul 

 

Surah Al-Ikhlas


قُلۡ ہُوَ اللّٰہُ اَحَدٌ ۚ اَللّٰہُ الصَّمَدُ ۚ لَمۡ یَلِدۡ ۬ ۙ وَ لَمۡ یُوۡلَدۡ وَ لَمۡ یَکُنۡ لَّہٗ کُفُوًاا اَحََد

Qul, hu Allahu ahad Allah us Samad, Lam yalid wa' lam yu'lad wa' lam yakin lahu, kufwan Ahad.

TranslationSay, He is Allah, [who is] One, Allah the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, Nor is there to Him any equivalent.


Surah Al-Falaq

قُلۡ اَعُوۡذُ بِرَبِّ الۡفَلَقِ، مِنۡ شَرِّ مَا خَلََق ۙ وَ مِنۡ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ اِذَا
وَقَبَ ۙ وَ مِنۡ شَرِّ النَّفّٰثٰتِ فِی الۡعُقَدِ ۙ وَ مِنۡ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ اِذَا حَسَدَ

Qul, a'udhu bi-Rabbil-falaq
min sharri ma khalaq
Wa 'min sharri ghasiqin 'idha waqab
Wa 'min sharri-naffathati fil-uqad,
Wa 'min sharri hasidin 'idha hasad.

Translation: Say, I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak From the evil of that which He created And from the evil of darkness when it settles And from the evil of the blowers in knots And from the evil of an envier when he envies.


Surah Al-Nas


قُلۡ  اَعُوۡذُ  بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ  مَلِکِ النَّاسِ اِلٰہِ  النَّاسِ مِنۡ  شَرِّ الۡوَسۡوَاسِ  ۬ ۙ  الۡخَنَّاسِ الَّذِیۡ یُوَسۡوِسُ فِیۡ صُدُوۡرِ النَّاسِ مِنَ الۡجِنَّۃِ وَ النَّاسِ

Qul ‘A’udhu Bi-Rabbin-Nasa Malikin-NasI Ilahin-Nasi Min-Sharril-Waswasil-Khan-NasAl-Ladhi Yuwas-wisu Fee Sudurin-Nasi Minal-Jinnati Wan-Nas 

Translation: Say, I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, The Sovereign of mankind. The God of mankind, From the evil of the retreating whisperer Who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind - From among the jinn and mankind. [Subah abu Dawood : 1523]


 8.  Ayatul Kursi 

The Messenger of Allah (p.b.u.h) said, Whoever recites the 'verse of the Throne' (Ayatul kursi) after every prescribed prayer, there will be nothing standing between him and his entry into Paradise except death. [Sahih according to al- Albani]

 

اَللّٰہُ لَاۤ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا ہُوَۚ اَلۡحَیُّ الۡقَیُّوۡمُ ۬ ۚ لَا تَاۡخُذُہٗ سِنَۃٌ وَّ لَا نَوۡمٌ ؕ لَہٗ مَا فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ مَا فِی الۡاَرۡضِ ؕ مَنۡ ذَا الَّذِیۡ یَشۡفَعُ عِنۡدَہٗۤ اِلَّا بِاِذۡنِہٖ ؕ یَعۡلَمُ مَا بَیۡنَ اَیۡدِیۡہِمۡ وَ مَا خَلۡفَہُمۡ ۚ وَ لَا یُحِیۡطُوۡنَ بِشَیۡءٍ مِّنۡ عِلۡمِہٖۤ اِلَّا بِمَا شَآءَ ۚ وَسِعَ کُرۡسِیُّہُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الۡاَرۡضَ ۚ وَ لَا .یَـُٔوۡدُہٗ حِفۡظُہُمَا ۚ وَ ہُوَ الۡعَلِیُّ الۡعَظِیۡمُ

Allahu laaa ilaaha illaa Huwal Haiyul Qaiyoom; laa taakhuzuhoo sinatunw wa laa nawm; lahoo maa fissamaawaati wa maa fil ard; man zal lazee yashfa’u indahooo illaa bi-iznih; ya’lamu maa baina aydeehim wa maa khalfahum wa laa yuheetoona bishai’im min ‘ilmihee illaa bimaa shaaa’; wasi’a Kursiyyuhus samaawaati wal arda wa laa ya’ooduho hifzuhumaa; wa Huwal Aliyyul 'Azeem.

Translation: Allah! There is no god worthy of worship except Him, the Ever-Living, All-Sustaining. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who could possibly intercede with Him without His permission? He fully knows what is ahead of them and what is behind them, but no one can grasp any of His knowledge—except what He wills to reveal. His Seat encompasses the heavens and the earth, and the preservation of both does not tire Him. For He is the Most High, the Greatest.


9.  La ilaha illa allahu wah dahu la shareeka laahu

لَآ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اللّٰہُ وَحْدَہٗ لَاشَرِیْکَ لَہٗ، لَہُ الْمُلْکُ وَلَہُ الْحَمْدُ یُحْیٖ وَیُمِیْتُ وَھُوَ عَلٰی کُلِّ شَیْءٍ قَدِیْرٌ

La ilaha ill-Allah, Wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-Mulk, wa lahul-Hamd, yuhyiyy wa yumit, wa Huwa Hayyun la yamut, bi Yadihil-Khayr wa Huwa ‘ala kulli shay'in Qadeer.


Translation: There is no deity except Allah alone, no partner has he. To Him belongs the dominion and to Him is due all praise and He is over all things Powerful. All praise is for Allah and Glorified is Allah and there is no deity except Allah and Allah is the Greatest and there is no power or might except with Allah. [At tirmizi 3474]


10. Allahumma inni as'aluka ilman nafian


.اَللّٰھُمَّ  اِنِّیْٓ  اَسْئَلُکَ  عِلْمًا  نَّافِعًا  وَّرِزْقًا  طَیِّبًا  وَّعَمَلًا  مُّتَقَبَّلًا

Allahumma inni as'aluka ilman nafi'an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa 'amalan mutaqabbala. 


Translation: O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision and acceptable deeds. [Ibn maja : 925]
